A riverside redevelopment gave the Sea Cadets an opportunity to relocated to this site, where a purpose designed steel framed building provided them with a new state of the art facility. The front unit provide three storeys of accommodation which included worchshop, lecture rooms and boat storage areas, and at the rear a portal frame structure provide a large open space for their quarterdeck.
