Steel frame solutions were required to support different roof profiles for both the domestic living quarters and the swimming pool area.

The two storey extension used cranked steel beams within the timber frame to accommodate the room in the roof design. Planning restrictions required the new roof profile to match the existing farm building. This resulted in the design of a double crank steel frame to support the new roof over large glazed panels.
