This project was the construction of a 91-bed care home for elderly residents, on the site of a former pub in Leicester.

The building provides four storeys of accommodation, with extensive construction of retaining walls, both in the basement and in the external landscaping, to optimize the use of a very tight site. The main construction is of loadbearing masonry and precast concrete floors, with steelwork to supplement the walls where needed.

Completion is scheduled for Autumn 2013.
